According to the fresh information the candidates of both the BJP and Congress are in full swing to canvass support for them in our localities in the North constituency as well as in the South Goa and their first contact point is priests and Church Pe. Vigars who as per my source assured them of their support. In this case I cannot understand how the Pe. Vigars assured them support when BJP is already known to be a communal party while the Church has openly declared its opposition to the communal parties. That the BJP is the worst communal party is a known fact needing no further certificate to confirm this. Cancelling of Christian holidays by Parrikar earlier was the clear proof of communalism perpatrated by the BJP under Parrikar.
In view of this how and why our Pe. Vigars entertained and welcomed the BJP candidates itself is a big question mark. Church stand is very clear on this issue to oppose communal forces and since BJP is one such force, it is the duty of our Pe. Vigars to turn down politely the request of BJP candidates to meet them to discuss this topic. BJP in Goa under Parrikar is the worst enemy not only of Christians but more than that of Christianity though the Christian MLA's of BJP are simply barking praises on BJP saying it is not a communal party because they are part of it. These Christian MLA's of BJP are "Yes Men", they are controlled thru remote control by Parrikar and if they talk like genuine Christians surely they will lose the Lollipops they are getting from Parrikar.
And for Congress its North Goa candidate is alleged to be tainted with Drug scandal in which case the Church should oppose such candidates for being sinful. Can Goa Church investigate this malady before the faithful are misguided by the Pe. Vigars from the Altars and Pulpits? The Pe. Vigar below my nose according to my information has already entertained the North Goa candidate and assured him of his Church support. If it is true then the said Pe. Vigar has made a big mistake by assuring support of his Church followers without their consent to a sinful man of one of the corrupt parties.
In the past, the then Pe. Vigar of Candolim Church Pe. Torrado one fine evening welcomed Dayananda Bandodkar in the Church office and assured him support of the local faithful. When I got this news I went to Pe. Torrado and warned him not to use Church Altar to canvass support for anti-Christian Bandodkar otherwise I told Pe. Torrado that I will confront him on the very same spot where he does the canvassing for anti-Christian and corrupt party MGP.
The faithful must not blindly follow the advices of our Pe. Vigars in the matters of voting. Many of our Pe. Vigars are corrupt and I understand that some of them are taking bribe in lakhs from the candidates for canvassing support for them from the faithful. It is not only the politicians who are prone to bribe but more than them are some of our Pe. Vigars who are currently become nuisance for the Church and to the faithful because they lost their sanity to think upright and to preach upright. We dont have Pe. Vigars now to control and guide the faithful in a proper way befitting their Christian religion otherwise there would never be in our community rampant immorality, divorces, concubinage, prostitution, separation of families, fights in the families, fighting of court cases between family members and relatives.
In our side and elsewhere in Goa as well the local Panchayats are become so arrogant and proud because power has gone into their heads. Power has gone into their heads because these Panchayats are manned by low calibre persons of Ladru-Pedru type coming from "Zopoddpotti" family background of "Chor & Bamtte". The members of these Panchayats refuse to accept dissent from the upright locals and to silence this dissenting voice they are punished with revengeful fury by the Panchayat members including by the Sarpanch when they approach Panchayat for any official work as if Panchayat is their fathers property. They must know one thing that they are elected to serve the people and not to take their personal revenge.
Ravi Naik and Shripad Naik if they want the votes for them from their supporters in our localities then they must first stop the Panchayat members in their villages from being revengeful. Many persons who accompany the candidates for canvassing are guilty of this type of revenge. And as a matter of retaliation, voters will refrain from voting the candidates who are seen accompanied by the revengeful MLA's, ex-MLA's', Sarpanchas and other Panchas. This is the only opportunity for the voters to show their power which they will surely show.
