Young Geremia renders opening solo
Today (26.06.16) at Mapusa, starting at 10.45 AM, the writer and director Irineu Gonsalves staged his Tiatro “REVOLUTION”, it was an “All Tickets sold out” attendance.
Tomy Afonso sings his political solo
In this Tiatro, Irineu Gonsalves introduced to Konkani Stage the most precious star in Vishal Gawas whose hidden talent got erupted like a Volcano and its fame like Lava spread everywhere. His role of a corrupt Minister was excellent and this role brought an extra colour to this already a colourful Tiatro.
A scene where Sheikh Ameer seen as CM
Equally excellent role in this Tiatro was played by Sheikh Ameer when he imitated in every respect the current CM Parsencar. In talk, walk, dress and in every other manner he imitated Parsencar. Kudos to Sheikh Ameer.
Another scene:Jessica-Tari-Sylvester
As usual, Tari, Sylvester Vaz, Jessica and Jeremia played their roles well though additionally Jessica was the centre of attraction with her beautiful looks and beautiful dress code. She reminds us of the yesteryear’s beauties of Konkani Stage, namely Mohana, Ophelia, Violet, Antonete, Rita Rose and others. Tari and Sylvester falls into the category of those giants of past decades who raised the standard of Konkani Stage, namely, Tony Sax, Valente Mascarenhas, Cyriaco Dias and many others.
The comedy part was beautifully handled by both the ace comedians Humbert and John D’Silva assisted by others.
Benny de Aldona on his solo
Side Show songs were good with encores, this time Tomy Afonso (Jr. Nelson)alsothundered like a Lion with his powerfull solo on Goan politics.
Three special guests namely, Narvencar, Valmiki of “AAP” and Prabhakar Timble of newly formed Political Party “Goa Forward” were introduced to the audience and they in turn expressed their views in support of their Parties requesting the audience to bring about real Revolution. Timble’s speech was better appreciated by the audience.

During the Interval the director of the Tiatro Irineu Gonsalves was felicitated with a traditional Shawl thru the hands of Timble. Other three more were also felicitated including Sheikh Ameer for his excellent role as Goa’s CM in this Tiatro.
