Referring to the forthcoming exotic Sunburn event that is pushed on our great and clean cultural and traditional attributes by all the bloody idiots including those power wielding politicians who are of such a nature that they are even ready to sell their wives to the organisers of this event which will be held in Anjuna the holy place that gave birth to that holy and Saintly figure Pe. Agnelo D’Souza and luckily for the opponents of this event including must be the Pe. Agnelo from Heaven, the court opposed it. Though the organisers are showering with all the promises yet the High court of Goa passed its scriptures against it. For those who are giving assurances that it will be free of vulgarity and sinful acts, I indicate here what I witnessed earlier when this event was held in Candolim. At Murod Vaddo Candolim, opposite to the Church, on the field at about 8.30 PM while I was riding my scooter to go Home from Sinquerim, I saw about 4 couples totally nude enjoying sex on the field touching the road and screaming giving an impression that they were on the peak of orgasm. And the way they were using foul language one could notice they were under heavy Drugs. And yet they were asking the passers by if they have drugs for sale. Surprisingly 2-3 pimps and drug peddlers were doing good business besides 2 Policemen whom when I pointed this tamasha, they told me politely “Patrao hem tukam kiteak poddlam, tum voch voitai tuim, ami polloun ghetelet them”. The distance from the place the event was organized to this place at Murod was one kilometer approximately.
If this event is so bad leading to the commitment of disgraceful acts, why not stop it altogether not only in the holy land Anjuna of the Holy Priest Fr. Agnelo but in Goa as a whole instead of polluting of the sacred soil of our Goa with foul and sinful acts? Just because we want money from tourism we cannot sell ourselves by engaging in immorality. Prostitution is fetching good dividends, shall we go for it to attract more tourists?
Let me go on record here by stating that the tourism was not started by the government, tourism was started by putting its foundation in Candolim and Calangute in the mid sixties by our common folks residing in the coastal area in the said villages where the ordinary fisher folks rented their houses to the tourists who were mainly the dirty,uncivilized and uncultured Hippies from USA who were in revolt against all civilized norms of society. These Hippies have created a very bad impact of all their bad happits on our the then youth. Government has taken over Tourism and converted it into an industry only later on when it was well established. The government and ministers had no balls to create anything new because most of our Montris are donkeys without proper knowledge of the portfolios they are holding. Their educational background is so low that they are fit to be only the Peons in the government sector or Dish washers in any ordinary Restaurant. Such donkeys how can they create the new jobs for our jobless youth? To create new jobs you have to build companies and Factories. Do our current Ministers have that knowledge to start new Factories? These bloody donkeys during the election time give us false promises of providing jobs for our youth but when such topics are raised the electorate must grill their candidates. They can only repair roads because it is easy job for them with easy money as bribe. Thru these bribes they accumulated crores.
Coming back to the Sunburn event, our Church must play its role properly without any fear and for this our Lordship at Altinho must issue a strong stricture against the sinful event of Sunburn saying SUNBURN IS ANTI-CHRISTIAN and as such Christians should not involve
in it.
