TIATRO “TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR”
Yesterday, on 1st of this month, in Candolim at Orda St. Cruz, I saw this Tiatro of Jr.Reagan starting at 8.45 PM instead of at 8.00 PM. It was sponsored by the Candolim Panch member Mr. Blaize.
The Tiatro was very well enacted by all the artistes who looked more seasoned than most of the seasoned ones. All credit to writer and director Reagan to create a perfect homogeneous troupe that was trained so well to dish out so well performance in which the major credit should go to Reagan himself for playing a “captain inning” appropriately. The others who deserve major compliments for playing their roles beautifully was the beautiful heroine Crostina who was like a shining star in the constellation opposite to her handsome hero. As usual veteran Chitra with her majestic physique played the role of a mother perfectly well giving an added booster to this Tiatro and she was ably supported by Rosario Botelho as her husband. Lovely looking with excellent actress’ personality Valencia did her role well. Andrew played his role extremely well as mentally deranged man. The grandfather’s role played so appropriately by Justino deserve top compliments.
The comedy part was well handled by all the three comedians Aurelius and his other two partners.
In the Side Show songs the audience was well entertained with variety of songs namely solos, duos, trios and duet in which Reagan, Baba Cielo, Andrew, Chitra and others captured the audience attention. The 4 political songs rendered were of very high class.
This Tiatro is worth seeing since the story is surrounded on two lovers – Crostina coming from rich family and her boyfriend Reagan coming from poor family background because of which he is not accepted by the parents of his girlfriend. Ultimately the end becomes very pathetic which one has to see by seeing this Tiator “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”.
