Goa Forward Party is synonymous with Fatorda MLA Vijay Sardesai who is the voice of Goa in the Legislative Assembly being a one strong man Opposition who is strongly fighting for Goa and Goans. Goa Forward Party under the able presidency of Prabakhar Timble is the only Party in Goa that is more vociferously raising its voice by organizing public meetings in Goa, against nationalizing Goan Rivers where it will destroy the livelihood of our traditional Goans.

Taking this view in consideration and some other negative aspects of this nationalization,  Goa Forward Party yesterday organized a big public meeting in Siolim at Tarir to condemn this move of government to nationalize the Goan Rivers.  At 5.15 PM the move started with a rally that took the demonstrators to the River where the demonstrators as a symbolic gesture released in the river at Tarir some Paper Boats.

During the rally the demonstrators shouted heavy slogans against this nasty move by the government.  Some of the slogans goes thus

After the rally attended by a very good crowd comprising males and females, an Office of the party was officially inaugurated with loud cheers by all the attendees.

During the meeting, speaker after speaker in their speeches criticized the BJP government of cheating the Goans and vowed to dethrone the BJP government from the power first by defeating the current local BJP MLA who one of the speakers said thru illicit means amassed wealth to the tune of One Thousand Crores of Rupees.
