Corona Virus or no, the political life must go on and politicians are busy devising their plans to contest and win the next Assembly Election. Politicians are not much bothered whether they get the Party tickets or not, they are bothered only to contest even as independents especially those whose roots are firm in their constituencies where once elected their bargaining power increases in their favour. See by winning only three Seats Vijay Sardesai’s GFP gained importance even though all its three members in reality got elected not because of the name of GFP but because of their personal charisma as individuals.
I noticed some factors common almost in all the re-contestants who currently being the members of the ruling faction, they all committed the similar sins of using their political power only to promote them and their close family members thus accumulating illicit wealth which is enough even for their next generations. Hence, they deserve to be questioned when they come to you for begging for your votes, of course shamelessly after 5 years, in between without knowing you are alive or dead. Your existence they know only once in 5 years.
First question: Why should we vote for you when you have not done anything for me, for my children, for my Vaddo, for my village, for my constituency and for my Goa? You have helped only your own relatives to get them Government jobs and business facilities.
Second: For how many people you helped in getting their documents approved for government facilities without taking bribe and can you name them?
Third: Did you demand illicit sex from any woman in exchange of any official favour for her? In this way how many families you destroyed? Are you worthy of our votes?
